The powder printer is ideal for large and/or difficult to support geometry. The nature of powder printing delivers constant support for all geometry during the building process, without any support material being permanently attached to the finished model. Hollowing out objects is highly recommended. Wall thicknesses down to 2mm are safe to print, but keep in mind that the heavy weight and relatively weak strength of the finished material can lead to parts incapable of supporting themselves after the printing process.

See our tutorials for information on submitting your parts and on part tolerances and effectively hollowing out your mesh and NURBS models.
