Yearly Schedule

See below - specific dates for graduating students (fall and spring semesters) and non-graduating (returning) students

 
Spring 2018

January 2, 2018:

  • Spring semester course folders are created
  • Faculty and TF’s are given access to these folders
  • Studio workstations are re-imaged - all work saved locally is deleted

January 10, 2018: (day before start of the spring semester)

  • Printing, laser cutting, and equipment access removed
  • Workstation registration - open for online registration
  • Laser cutter access - available after online registration
  • Equipment checkout - available after online registration
  • Printing/plotting - available after online registration
  • 3D printing - normal rates apply
  • Fall semester required and elective courses are no longer available to students - content in folders are archived and cleared from storage
  • Spring semester required and elective courses are available to students
  • “Jan to Aug Temporary Space” share create
  • All Students get access to all elective course shares
  • Students are added to required course shares
  • 3rd year M-Arch 1 and all M-Arch 2 students get access to all advanced studio shares
  • Billing submitted to Bursar - Students, Faculty, and Staff

January 11, 2018:

  •  “Sept to Dec Temporary Space” share deleted - this share is not archived

January 17, 2018: (noon)

  •  Login access removed for all workstations that have not been registered - register workstation to regain login access

January 29, 2018:

  •  Access to studio, required, and elective course shares are adjusted to reflect registration of course

March 12, 2018:

  • Billing submitted to Bursar - students, faculty, and staff

Students who are graduating:

May 16, 2018, 12PM

  • Billing submitted to Bursar - Graduating students, Papercut account locked.
  • If you still need to print, you can pre-pay for printing at the 3rd floor Business Office.
  • 3D printing will remain active. You can pre-pay for printing at the 3rd floor Business Office.

May 20, 2018

  • Door access to 4th, 5th, and 7th floor studio floors removed. Login access to studio workstations removed.
  • Login and door access to SB computer lab will remain active.
  • Login and door access to 6th floor and 6th floor computer lab will remain active.
  • Laser cutter access removed.
  • Access to equipment checkout removed.
  • Access to 4th floor Mimaki cutter removed.

August 17, 2018

  • All login and door access removed, NetId’s become inactive.
  • Access to 3D printing removed.

Students who are not graduating:

May 14, 2018

  • 1017c class folder created and accessible.

May 16, 2018, 1PM

  • Billing submitted to Bursar - Non-graduating students, faculty, and staff, Papercut accounts remain active.

May 20, 2018

  • Door access to 4th, 5th, and 7th floor studio floors removed. Login access to studio workstations removed.
  • Login and door access to SB computer lab will remain active.
  • Login and door access to 6th floor and 6th floor computer lab will remain active.
  • Laser cutter access removed
  • Printing accounts remain active
  • Access to equipment checkout remains active.
  • 3D printing remains active.
  • Access to 4th floor Mimaki cutter remains active via Freight Elevator.

May 21, 2018 - Graduation Day 2018: 

  • Spring semester required and elective courses are no longer available to students - content in folders are archived and cleared from folders.
  • 1017c and Building Project course folders remain active.

July 2, 2018

  • Door access to the 6th floor studio floor removed. Login access to studio workstations removed.
